The Importance of a Brand Identity

Take Coca-Cola for example. There are many, many soda companies out there but if someone were to ask you what soda has a red and white label, you would instantly think of Coca-Cola. This is because they are such a well known business with a strong brand identity. Even when creating custom cans, for the holidays or special events they always stay true to their established typefaces, and classic colors of red and white.
A strong and consistent brand identity is essential for creating a recognizable, trustworthy, and valuable brand that stands out from the competition and resonates with customers. As a designer our brand is ourselves, we want to make sure when we are putting out content that we include parts of our brand identity, so we can become easily recognizable like any other brand.
